Volunteers are needed to help VBS be a success this summer. You do not need to have children participating in VBS to help, just current clearances (see announcement above for links – call the church office if you need assistance).

• We need crew leaders (people to lead children from one station to the next).

• We need registration/welcome table attendees that welcome the children, hand out name tags or register those who haven't registered yet.

If you are interested in joining the VBS crew please let Nicky Snyder know as soon as possible, 717.644.5188 or ballet06grad@hotmail.com.

CALL PROCESS WEBSITE & INFORMATION

The Lower Susquehanna Synod has a website dedicated to information about the Call Process: Call Manual for Congregations. These resources provide an overview and are helpful to the congregation moving through this process. A few copies of the Call Manual are also available at church in the narthex. After you have finished it, please return it to church so that others may read it.

LUTHERAN DISASTER RESPONSE

Lutheran Disaster Response is accompanying our companions in Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, as well as such ecumenical partners as Lutheran World Federation and Church World Service, in their humanitarian responses to the crisis. These partners provide refugees with immediate support and supplies such as food, blankets, water and hygiene kits. To donate, please follow this link: Lutheran Disaster Response.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

Lutheran World Relief, the international ministry of Lutheran churches world-wide, is working cooperatively with Corus International to alleviate the suffering of those fleeing the war in Ukraine. Already over a million refugees have fled to the neighboring countries of Poland, Slovakia, and Romania with more arriving every day. If you desire to contribute to this humanitarian relief effort you may do by sending an offering directly to the church and marking it "LWR-Ukraine." More information may be found on the Lutheran World Relieve website
