Friedens Clothing Closet
To assist families in our community, we welcome donations of new or gently used clothing (clean and no stains please) and shoes in good condition. We will include clothing sizes from infant/children to adult women to size 16 and men to size XXL. We would also like to offer feminine products for those in need. To get started, we welcome donations of new or used clothing racks and hangers. If you prefer, you can make a monetary donation which can be marked “Clothing Closet” and place it in the Sunday offering plate. Bins will be available in the Social Hall to drop off clothing/shoe/feminine product donations. Once we are fully operational, we will be open once a month. We would like to start in August before the new school year. If you have any questions or can help in any way, please see Holly Baim. We are blessed to be a blessing!
Mission Trip Opportunity - October 11-17
We will again be traveling south for a fourth disaster recovery mission trip with ASP (Appalachia Service Project). This will be a week-long trip focused on repairing and rebuilding homes affected by the Fall 2024 hurricanes in North Carolina, Tennessee, etc. ASP’s mission statement is simply “warmer, safer, drier.” Find out more: https://asphome.org. You don’t think you have the ability to help? Not to worry! We are a Mission TEAM – there is a place for everyone of all skill levels and experience – the only requirements are a willingness to learn and giving your best to help these hurricane victims.
